Answer: John Jensen and Kim Vilfort

The final against Germany was really a thriller! The Germans favourites apparently underestimated the Danish team, which traditionally hadn't been a frightening team. The two Danish goals were both shots from the edge of the box, and they were scored in the 20th and the 78th minutes.
2. How many goals did Dutch striker Marco van Basten score in Euro 1992?

Answer: 0

Van Basten had great success around these years at A.C. Milan and in Euro 1988 he scored 5 goals, yet in 1992 he surprisingly didn't score any. However, he did have a goal disallowed in the 0-0 draw against Scotland.

Answer: Gladsaxe Hero

From Gladsaxe he transferred to first Hvidovre (today playing in the second best Danish league and owned by Schmeichel)and then Brondby. Between 1987 and 1991 he and Brondby has great success both in the Danish superleague and in the UEFA cup. In July 1991 Schmeichel began his adventures with Alex Ferguson and Man.United with whom he won the English premiership five times and of course the legendary treble in 1999.

The past years he has been playing two seasons in Sporting Lisbon, then tranferring surprisingly to Aston Villa. Schmeichel was born on November 18th 1963.

He is considered by many football-lovers to be one of the best keepers of all times.

Answer: Fiorentina

Fiorentina had to pay Bayern Munich around 40 million Danish Krone for Laudrup, which was the highest fee ever paid for a Dane. His stay in Fiorentina was no success however, and he went to play for A.C. Milan the following year.

Answer: Rob Witschge

The goal was scored by a great shot from distance.
8. Which German striker scored three goals in Euro 1992?

Answer: Karl-Heinz Riedle

Two of them in the semi final against Sweden, the first against Scotland in the first round. Germany's other goals were scored by Hassler(2), Klinsmann and Buchwald.

The final was played in Gothenburg at the Nya Ullevi.
