1. English football stadiums: I have picked the one of my favourite teams; they're based in London. It was opened in 1877. Which stadium, home to the blues, am I describing?

Answer: Stamford Bridge

Stamford Bridge is home to Chelsea FC and was built in 1877, before Chelsea were a team (they were formed in 1905). The stadium has a capacity of just under 42,000, making it quite a small stadium for a well-renowned club.

White Hart Lane is the home of Tottenham, The City of Manchester Stadium is the home of Manchester City and the Emirates Stadium is home to Chelsea's rivals Arsenal.
2. Germany: the stadium lights up red when Bayern Munich play. What is the name of this stadium?

Answer: Allianz Arena

The stadium broke ground in 2002 and was completed in 2005. It can hold up to 66,000 people. It lights up blue as well when 1860 Munich play and white when the German national team play there.

The Weserstadion is home to Werder Bremen and Metallica, Van Halen, Bon Jovi and Michael Jackson have played a concert there. Signal Iduna Park is home to Borussia Dortmund and Olympiastadion is home to Hertha BSC.

Answer: Stade de Gerland

The Stade de Gerland is a UEFA four-star stadium and has a capacity of just over 40,000. In June 2003 a footballing tragedy happened when Marc-Vivien Foe collapsed on the pitch and later died.

The Stade Velodrome is home to Marseille, the Parc des Princes is home to PSG and Stadium Municipal is home to Toulouse.
4. Spain: this big football stadium is the home of F.C Barcelona. Which stadium in Europe am I?

Answer: Camp Nou

The Nou Camp or Camp Nou is the largest stadium in Europe with a capacity of just under 100,000. It opened in 1957.

The Vicente Calderon is home to Atletico Madrid, the Estadio Mestalla is home to Valencia and the Ciudad de Valencia is home to Levante.
5. Spain: I've decided to take a trip to the Santiago Bernabeu. Which team is home to the Bernabeu?

Answer: Real Madrid

Real Madrid are another one of the most popular Spanish football teams, and their home is the Bernabeu. They have played matches here since 1947.
6. Italy is home to the legendary stadium San Siro. Which two teams play here?

Answer: Inter Milan and AC Milan

The San Siro is a football stadium which was opened in 1926 and has been the home of Internazionale (Inter Milan) and AC Milan since its opening. The first match played here was between Inter and AC Milan and the final result was 6-3 to Inter Milan!
7. Italy: I've decided to go a stadium which is the largest in the country's capital city, Rome. What is the name of this stadium?

Answer: Stadio Olimpico

The stadium has a capacity of 72,698 and is home to AS Roma and S.S Lazio.

The San Siro is home to Inter Milan and AC Milan, Manuzzi is home to Cesena and Massimino is home to Catania.
8. I am now in Portugal and am visiting the Estadio do Dragao, but which team has this stadium as its home ground?

Answer: FC Porto

The Estádio do Dragăo has been the home of FC Porto since 2003 and has a capacity of around 52,000. It is the replacement of Estadio des Antas which was their stadium from 1952-2003.
9. I'm in England and have decided to visit Manchester United's stadium Old Trafford. What year was it opened?

Answer: 1910

Old Trafford was opened on the 19th February 1910. It has space for just under 76,000 spectators. It hosted the 2003 Champions League final which AC Milan won.
10. England: I am visiting Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC, but which other team played there from 1884-1892?

Answer: Everton

Anfield has been home to Liverpool since 1892 and is a UEFA four-star stadium. There is a statue of Bill Shankly, who is one of the most famous managers in England, but he sadly died in 1981.
