Answer: Gary Pallister

While Pallister did indeed begin and end his career at Middlesbrough, it was at Manchester United where he excelled at the game, playing for nearly a decade in which he totalled 317 League games for the club and also enjoyed a fine run at the centre of England's defence.

Answer: Gary Bailey

Although born in South Africa, Gary Bailey did earn a number of caps in the England goal in the 1980's. He played for Manchester United for 7 seasons, between 1978-85 until retiring through injury.
3. Which of these Gary's played for Glasgow Celtic and Liverpool amongst others?

Answer: Gary Gillespie

Gillespie began his career in 1977 as a 17 year old with Falkirk in Scotland before moving south of the border with Coventry City. After 172 games for the sky blues, Liverpool saw his obvious defensive talent and Anfield was where he plied his trade between 1983-91 before signing for Celtic. Three more seasons passed with the Bhoys before he ended his career back at Coventry in 1997.
