Ipswich played at Broom Hill between 1878-1883, then moved into Brook's Hall where they stayed until 1888 when they began playing at Portman Road.

O'Brien was manager between 1936-37, until he was succeeded by Duncan (1937-55), Ramsey was manager between 1955-63, and Milburn took up the hotseat for a season until 1964.

Mick Mills made 591 League appearances between 1966-82.

Ramsey became Sir Alf in 1970, and Robson, Sir Bobby in 2003.
