Answer: Dan Marino

One of my personal favorite players growing up in South Florida, Dan Marino played high school and college football in the city of his birth, Pittsburgh. Marino was the first player to throw for more than 60,000 yards in an NFL career and in 1984 he led the Dolphins to the Super Bowl while being the first player to throw for at least 48 touchdowns in a season.
5. This NFL player was an All-American at LSU before recording more than 1,300 receiving yards in his first two seasons with the New York Giants in 2014 and 2015.

Answer: Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell Beckham Jr. burst onto the NFL scene in 2014 as he set several rookie records and became the first player to reach 100 career receptions in just 14 games. Incredibly Beckham's rookie records were set in spite of missing the first four games of his career with a hamstring injury.

In addition to his skills as a football player, Beckham was also a track and basketball star in high school.
6. Over the course of his 24 year career this MLB shortstop won 11 Gold Gloves, primarily as a member of the Cleveland Indians from 1994 to 2004.

Answer: Omar Vizquel

Omar Vizquel was born in Caracas, Venezuela and he had 2,877 hits and 404 stolen bases during his long career. Probably his best ability as a player was his defense as evidenced by his .985 fielding percentage. Vizquel was the first shortstop in MLB history to play a game in four different decades.
7. I was the first Swedish NHL player to score 500 goals and I played for the Toronto Maple Leafs from 1994 to 2008.

Mats Sundin was selected first overall by the Quebec Nordiques in the 1989 NHL Draft. Sundin played for the Nordiques for four seasons before becoming a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Over the course of his career Steve Nash was considered one of the league's best passers and free throw shooters. Nash led the NBA in assists five times and he was the first player in NBA history to have four seasons in which he shot better than 50% for field goals, 40% for three-pointers, and 90% for free throws (the 50-40-90 club).
9. I was the first NFL player to have more than 10,000 receiving yards in a career and I won Super Bowl III as a member of the New York Jets in 1969.

Answer: Don Maynard

Playing in college for Texas Western, Don Maynard was the 109th player selected in the 1957 NFL Draft. Maynard was one of only seven players to play for just one franchise during the AFL's 10 years' existence, doing so as a member of the New York Titans/Jets franchise. Maynard is widely considered the first great deep pass receiver in NFL history and he retired with an incredible 18.7 yards per reception.
10. Although I was undrafted out of college I starred at quarterback for the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV and for the Arizona Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII.

Answer: Kurt Warner

Kurt Warner's rise to success is well documented; his first job that he took after he failed to make an NFL roster following his college career was stocking shelves at a grocery store for $5.50 per hour. Warner would eventually play four seasons in the less renowned Arena Football League before he took the NFL by storm in 1999 as he led the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl victory in his first season as a starter.

As a member of the Arizona Cardinals in 2008 Warner had one of his best seasons as he led the team to the Super Bowl and he threw for 4,583 yards and 30 touchdowns.
