Madden once again appeared on the cover himself, as he did in previous years. Madden was head coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1969-1978. He took the team to an amazing 103-32-7 record in his 10 seasons. More amazing was that he led the Raiders to seven division titles, and one Super Bowl win.
