He spent five seasons as the Vikings' Head Coach between 2001-05 where he compiled a record of 32-33. This does not include his 1-1 record in the playoffs.

Dungy went undrafted in 1977 after playing quarterback at the University of Minnesota. He played safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers in a three-year career. He signed with the New York Giants in the 1980 offseason but did not make the team.
