1. Which of these head coaches retired from the NFL with the most games under their belt?

Answer: George Halas

Halas was the head coach of the Chicago Bears franchise for an amazing 40 seasons. He brought his team to 497 games. His career record was 318 wins, 148 losses, and 31 ties. The others did not coach in 400 games. When Don Shula retired in 1995, he was number two behind Halas by just seven games, with a career record of 328-156-6. Dallas Cowboy head coach Tom Landry was bumped to the third spot by Shula with 418 games.
2. Which of these head coaches took their team to the playoffs in a record 19 seasons?

Answer: Don Shula

Shula was the head coach of the Baltimore Colts for seven seasons from 1963-1969. He took over the Miami Dolphins for the next 26 seasons. Shula coached in 36 playoff games with a record of 19-17, including two Super Bowl wins with the Dolphins in the 1972 and 1973 seasons.
3. Who replaced the New York Jets' Eric Mangini, and was a NFL head coaching rookie in 2009?

Answer: Rex Ryan

In 2008, the Jets were 8-3 by Week 12, then they let the season go away by finishing 9-7. Ryan began his NCAA coaching career with Eastern Kentucky as the defensive ends coach in 1987. He was the defensive coordinator with New Mexico Highlands in 1989.

After four more seasons with Morehead State, he came to the NFL in 1994 with the Cardinals as the defensive line/linebackers coach. Rex went back to the NCAA for three seasons, then landed a defensive coaching job with the Baltimore Ravens for 10 seasons before taking the helm of the Jets.

He won his first NFL game with the Jets in 2009, a 24-7 win over the Houston Texans.
4. The Pittsburgh Steelers won four Super Bowls in the 1970s seasons. Who was their head coach?

Answer: Chuck Noll

Noll had the helm of the team from 1969-1991. He had a record of 193-148-1 in his career. Pittsburgh won Super Bowls IX, X, XIII, and XIV. Chuck was succeeded by Bill Cowher in 1992.

Tom Coughlin was in his 12th season, and his fourth with the Giants after providing his services in Jacksonville for eight seasons. The 10-6 Giants behind the mind of Coughlin, defeated the Patriots 17-14 in Super Bowl XLII.

Answer: Curly Lambeau

Lambeau had the helm of the Packers from 1921-1949. His career record in Green Bay was 209-104-21. After Ronzani replaced Lambeau for the 1950 season, Curly coached the Chicago Cardinals and Washington Redskins for two seasons each before he retired. He took the Packers to six NFL Championship crowns.

His 100th loss came in Week 1 in a 34-10 loss to the Bills. Fisher ended the 2007 season with 103 losses.

Except for Glanville, they all took the Raiders to a Super Bowl, but Rauch was the first in Super Bowl II against the Packers. Rauch took the Raiders to a 13-1 record, before Green Bay won the 1968 big game in the Orange Bowl in Miami, 33-14. Rauch had the helm of the Raiders for three seasons, then two with the Buffalo Bills before retiring in 1970.
