Answer: 1947

The Toronto Maple Leafs lost to the NHL All-Stars 4-3. Back then the NHL champion hosted the All-Star game.
2. The NHL Champion hosted the All-Star game from 1947-1968?

Answer: False

The format was changed briefly in 1951. The players from teams based in Canada, faced the players from teams based in the United States. After the two games ended in ties, the format was quickly dropped and went back to the NHL champion hosting the all-star game until 1968.

Gartner's four points came in 1993 with 3 goals in an assist in the 1st period of the Wales 16-6 win over the Campbell's. Oates's four points also were in 1993 and in the 1st period, but all them were assists. Gordie Howe had the most points he ever achieved in one period, three in 1965 in the 2nd period he had one goal and an assist as he helped the NHL all-Stars beat the Montreal Canadiens 5-2.
8. The 2003 All-Star game betwwen the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference, was the first to go to a shootout?

The West beat the East 6-5 as the Western Conference scored three times during the shootout, while the East could only get one goal which was scored by Danny Heatley, who already had four goals in the game by the time the shootout happened.

It was the 1967 All-Star game when the Montreal Canadiens defeated the NHL All-Stars 3-0. In 1948, was one of many times one team had scored one goal in a game. It happened in 1949, 1950, 1952, 1953, 1955, 1956, 1959, 1960, 1961, 1962, 1971, 1975, and 1981.
