Answer: Jordan Staal

Staal became the third in his family to be drafted in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft. In 2003, his older brother Eric was drafted second overall by the Carolina Hurricanes; in 2005, his older brother Marc was drafted 12th overall by the New York Rangers.
2. Who introduced the fourth overall pick Nicklas Backstrom, who was chosen by the Washington Capitals?

Answer: Alexander Ovechkin

Much to the delight of the fans in Vancouver, Ovechkin read the names for all of the Washington Capitals draft picks. The other first-round pick of the Caps, Semen Varlamov, was especially happy to hear his name called by Ovechkin.
