The Giants played there from 1891-1957, the Yankees played there from 1913-1922, the Jets never played there, and the Dodgers played at Ebbets Field from 1913-1957.
3. Which pitcher won his record 19th consecutive game at the Polo Grounds on July 3rd, 1912?

Answer: Rube Marquard

Marquard was a New York Giant, and went 26-11 in the 1912 season. He played baseball from 1905-1925.

323 of Mell Ott's 511 home runs were hit at the Polo Grounds, including his first, 500th, and his last (511th). Ott was a New York Giant his entire career from 1926-1947.

Centerfield was once as deep as 505 feet during the 1930s and 1940s, but was eventually shorted to 483 feet.

According to the final dimensions, right field was 258 feet, left field was 279 feet, and center field was 483 feet.
