1. Which English football team used to play their home games at Ayresome Park?

Answer: Middlesbrough FC

Middlesbrough moved to Ayresome Park in 1903, and this was their
home until they moved to the Riverside Stadium in 1995. The new stadiums'
capacity was 35,100.
2. Oxford United played their 2010 home games at the Kassam Stadium. What was their previous ground?

Answer: The Manor Ground

Oxford moved from the Manor Ground in 2001 to the Kassam Stadium
which held 12,500 fans. It was named after the former chairman, Firoz Kassam.
3. The Baseball Ground was once home to which Midlands based football team?

Answer: Derby County FC

East Midlands team, Derby, used to play their home games at the Baseball Ground. They moved there in 1895, then moved to their new home of Pride Park in 1997. The latter was opened by the Queen. The new stadium's capacity was 33,597.
4. Bolton Wanderers played their 2010 home games at the Reebok Stadium. Prior to 1997, where did they play their home games at?

Answer: Burnden Park

The majority of Burnden Park was terraced. In 1946, a disaster occurred leaving 33 fans dead, due to excessive crowd congestion. At one time, Burnden Park held as many as 85,000 fans. The club's new stadium held 28,000 and is all-seater.

9. Sunderland AFC used to play their home matches at which stadium?

Opened in 1897, Roker Park was the home venue of Sunderland AFC. They
played there for 100 years before moving to the Stadium of Light. The record attendance at Roker Park was 75,118, but had a closing capacity of 22,500.
10. Which southern football team moved to St. Mary's in 2001?

Answer: Southampton FC

Southampton moved from The Dell in 2001. The Dell's capacity was 15,000
and St Mary's could hold 32,689. The club was originally founded as Southampton St Mary's, so it is fitting that their new stadium was named after this.
