In the NFL, Green Bay won in Dallas and the Kansas City Chiefs won in Buffalo to win the AFL. This was before the merger and there were two leagues. Green Bay got off to a lead and never let up, winning 35-10. Boyd Dowler, the starting wide receiver got hurt and reserve Max McGee substituted in and caught two touchdown passes.
