Answer: Boyd Dowler

Boyd Dowler, who was an all pro, broke his arm in the game and Max who was a veteran did not expect to play much. He made an amazing catch for a touchdown and the night before became a moot point.

Green Bay jumped out to a 13-0 lead before Oakland got on the board and even led 33-7 before the Raiders scored a late touchdown to make the score look closer. Vince Lombardi retired from the Packers after this game.
3. Super Bowl III: Where was the third Super Bowl played?

Answer: Miami

Known as the infamous "guarantee" game by "Broadway" Joe Namath, the Jets outlasted the Colts, who many people thought were very superior. The AFL finally showed that it could play with the NFL.
4. Super Bowl IV: Who was in trouble for gambling allegations before the big game?

Answer: Len Dawson

There was a federal investigation into Len Dawson but he was cleared of all charges as his AFL Kansas City Chiefs upset the again heavily favored participant from the NFC, the Minnesota Vikings, 23-7. 5. Super Bowl V: Which of the following is NOT true of this game?

Answer: There were no turnovers

Super Bowl V is known as the "blooper bowl" because there were so many turnovers back and forth and it was a sloppily played game. In fact, there were 10 turnovers and 6 by the winning Baltimore Colts over the Dallas Cowboys, 16-13. After two AFL Super Bowl wins, the leagues merged and the Colts, Browns, and Steelers went to the AFC to balance out the league. Chuck Howley from Dallas was the MVP.
6. Super Bowl VI: How many points did the Miami Dolphins score in their first Super Bowl appearance?

25. Super Bowl XXV: Who had the highest rushing total in this Super Bowl?

Answer: Thurman Thomas

January 27, 1991 -- Tampa Stadium FL
19-20 Buffalo Bills vs. NY Giants (1st Super Bowl decided by one point)

Of course, this is speculation but if Scott Norwood had made the 47 yard field goal for the Bills and instead of losing 20-19 to the Giants and had won, Thurman Thomas looked like he was on to MVP honors. However, OJ Anderson took that home as the Giants won their second Super Bowl (their first was four years earlier January 25, 1987 : 39-20 vs. Denver Broncos at the Rose Bowl in California).
