Kansas City held tough until halftime. They went into the locker room trailing 14-10. But, the Packers had too much for them. They outscored the Chiefs 21-0 in the second half.

Super Bowl VI against the Dallas Cowboys was the game in question. Miami had the worst of days offensively. They managed only 185 yards of total offense and only had 10 first downs. Dallas, on the other hand, ran for more than 250 yards alone. Dallas won 24-3.

The Raiders were not impressed nor were they afraid of Washington. LA put up a then record 38 points and won the game by a then-record 29 points.

Answer: New England Patriots

The Patriots were out of their league from the get go. They finished third in their own division and snuck into the playoffs. Three improbable wins later, they found themselves up against a team that went 15-1 and thumped their two playoff opponents by a combined 45-0.

These two teams being matched up is the stuff Hollywood dreams of, but on that fateful day, the Patriots quickly learned their place. The Bears thoroughly dominated them bell to bell.

Answer: Denver Broncos

Led by John Elway, Denver jumped on top 7-0 after a bomb to receiver Ricky Nattiel. A field goal followed soon after and Denver had a comfortable lead, or so they thought. The second quarter brought nothing but misery and heartbreak for Elway and his Broncos. Washington scored 35 unanswered points and put on the cruise control and sailed to an easy championship.

Answer: San Francisco 49ers

Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Roger Craig, Tom Rathman, and Brent Jones. That was just on the offensive side of the ball, people. This team would chew you up, spit you out, and do it again just because they could. That is exactly what they did to Denver that season and whipped them 55-10.

Poor, poor John Elway. 0-3 in the Super Bowl at that point and the combined scores added up to 136-40.

Answer: Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills. Great, great, great regular season team. Dropped the ball yet again in the Super Bowl that year against Dallas. That would be their third loss in a row. Soon to be their fourth in a row. At least they got there, though.

Answer: San Diego Chargers

The Chargers started the 1994 season 6-0 and used that to win the less-than-stellar AFC West. They won their two AFC playoff games by close calls. A close call wasn't going to cut it in this Super Bowl. the 49ers, led by Steve Young, blew them out of the water 49-26.

Answer: Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens manhandled the Giants in pretty much every aspect of the game. More first downs, more passing yards, more rushing yards, bigger time of possession, and they forced the Giants to turn the ball over five times. Oh, and they dominated the scoring, 34-7.

Answer: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Bucs entered Super Bowl XXXV with a bone-crushing defense. Opposing offenses dreaded playing Tampa because of this. The Raiders, however, dreaded playing them for another reason. Not only was Tampa's defense that good, but the Bucs also had the Raiders' head coach from the previous season. John Gruden left Oakland for Tampa and it was Gruden who designed the Raiders' offense. So, not only did Tampa have the best defense, but they knew exactly what Oakland was going to call.

The Raiders didn't have a prayer that day and Tampa Bay beat them 48-21.
