Answer: Milwaukee

The inaugural season of the Milwaukee Braves found them finishing second behind the Brooklyn Dodgers. It was only the second time that the franchise would finish second or better since 1915. Only good things were ahead by winning the franchise's second World Series in 1957.
2. The franchise moved to Atlanta in 1966, making it the franchise's third city that they would root down in. Who was the only player of the franchise to play in all three cities with the team?

Answer: Eddie Mathews

The third baseman played for the 1952 Boston Braves, then made the move to Milwaukee in 1953. He also made the move to Atlanta with the team in 1966, before being traded to the Astros in 1967. Eddie was a two-time MVP runner-up in 1953 and 1959. The Hall of Fame took Mathews in 1978, then he died in 2001 at the age of 69. Warren Spahn played with the Boston and Milwaukee team, but retired in 1965.

Although losing the NLCS to the Mets, the Braves still had a powerhouse team, even with only one 20-game winner. They had Rico Carty who batted .342, Hank Aaron's 44 home runs, and Cecil Upshaw who contributed 27 saves.
