1. In the first trade in franchise history, the Expos sent Don Clendenon and Jesus Alou to which team for future Expos great Rusty Staub?

Answer: Astros

After Clendenon refused to report to the Astros, the Expos were forced to take him back and send Skip Gunn and Jack Billingham to the Astros to complete the trade. Staub would go on to play for Montreal from 1969-1971, before coming back at the end of the 1979 season.
2. Which of the following players was not acquired from the Mets in the 1972 deal, that sent Rusty Staub to New York?

Answer: Ron Hunt

All three would start for Montreal through the 1974 season after which Singleton was dealt to the Orioles. Hunt was acquired in an earlier deal with the Giants.
