Edwin Donald Snider was nicknamed 'The Silver Fox'. He began his Dodger career in 1947. His home runs were noticed in the 1952 and 1955 World Series. He hit a total of 11 in World Series action. Duke retired in 1964 as a Giant, then was inducted into the hall in 1980.

Howard Bruce Sutter played five seasons with the Cubs, four with the Cardinals and three with the Braves. He led the league five times in saves, and retired in 1988.

Satchel was inducted in 1971, then died in 1982 at the age of 75.

Ford went to 11 World Series and appeared in 22 games. His postseason record was 10-8. The hall took him in 1974.
