The clue is in the typical Polish name of the goalkeeper. Poland made it to the World Cup by beating, among others, England in the qualifiers. Poland won the bronze medal again in Spain eight years later (1982).
5. The very first FIFA World Cup was held in Uruguay in 1930. The final was played between Uruguay and Argentina, where the host nation won, but the bronze medallist may surprise you.
