1.1 "Pilot-Part 1" Trivia Quiz

The episode began with Jack lying on the ground, looking up at the tree above. He started to shake since he had just been in a terrible plane crash and was scared at what had just happened. As he lay on the ground, a dog came up to him and so he pulled himself up.

Jack went looking around the island and came to a beach where he saw other passengers involved in the plane crash screaming at their predicament. As Jack went around looking to find someone to help out, he noticed a man under part of the wreckage. He asked a couple people to help him pull the man out and, when they rescued him, you could see his badly injured legs but he did not lose them.

As Jack tended to the man who had lost his legs, he noticed Claire screaming and saw that she was pregnant. He rushed over to help her and she informed him that she was having some contractions. Jack asked Claire how many months along she was in her pregnancy and she replied she was at eight months.

Jack continued to help out Claire and asked her about her contractions so she told him she only had a few. Jack heard a fire erupt from an engine so he became concerned that the fumes would harm Claire and her unborn child. He asked Hurley to look after Claire and to be sure she was away from the fumes. Hurley did as Jack said and took Claire away from the fumes.

Jack noticed Boone performing CPR on an unconscious person so he rushed over since he noticed how Boone did not tilt her head back so he merely blew into her stomach. Boone let him know that he felt he had her head tilted back since he was a lifeguard and had a CPR license so Jack told him he should get his license back. Boone went to go look for a pen so Jack could perform a tracheotomy but, as Jack did CPR on the woman, she awoke.

Jack went a little bit into the forest and noticed he had a huge cut on the side of his chest, right below his armpit. As he tended to it, Kate appeared and he asked her if she had ever used a needle. Kate looked confused so Jack asked her if she ever patched up a pair of jeans before. Kate said she made the drapes in her apartment so Jack asked her if she could use a needle and "sew up" his wound. Kate was reluctant to do it but she did.

Right after Kate began to help Jack with his wound, we saw Sawyer and he had lighted a cigarette and started to walk around near the plane wreckage. He looked around and was shocked at what had happened. As he walked around for a little while, he eventually threw away his cigarette.

The opening credits stopped rolling and the very first scene we saw afterwards was one with Boone. He dialed up a number on his cell phone and it was presumed he dialed up for help to come rescue him and the others from the island. However, he could not get a signal.

Answer: Sayid Jarrah

In one of Sayid's first scenes in the episode, he started to build a fire and he noticed Charlie was right near him. He asked him for his name and Charlie introduced himself. Sayid asked Charlie to help him with the fire so that it could be big enough and hopefully attract attention to alert the authorities that they needed to be rescued.

However, no authorities saw the smoke from the fire. Sayid also informed Charlie as to what his name was.

In one of Shannon's earlier scenes, she was down by the beach and near the wreckage and you could see her putting nail polish on her toes. Boone saw her and sat down by her and offered her chocolate. Shannon sneered at him and said she would not eat chocolate at that time. She told Boone she would eat on the rescue boat.
