Judah died at the age of 40 or 41. Andy, Silas, Shane and Nancy all attended the unveiling. Andy spoke on behalf of his father, who was busy at a poker tournament. He also commented that Judah was buried next their mother and Uncle Sal. After this, Nancy drove Shane to his karate tournament.

This was obviously an inside joke, as Lawrence and Larusso were the main characters during the final karate battle of "The Karate Kid". William Zabka played Johnny Lawrence and Ralph Macchio played Daniel Larusso. In this scene, Shane bit his opponent Tim on the foot. This was how Nancy came to meet Peter Scottson.

Celia told Dean she'd been happy the first two years of the marriage, before he grew a gut and bought the house. They went on to discuss the pros and cons of the house. Dean loved it and thought it was a great bargain. Celia hated the house, citing the open air atrium as the stupidest room of all time. You had to cross through the atrium to get from her bedroom into the kitchen, making bad weather days a real chore!

Their encounter was brief, but intense, where Nancy ordered him to leave her alone. Apparently, Nancy had a hugely positive affect on Alejandro, as he sent her underwear in the next episode.

Andy had made the comment that if you touched the walls inside the Botwin house, you could feel Judah. Lupita took this literally, and told the tale of Senor Flores. He was a ghost that lived inside a phone line. He could be heard whispering on the line, "Dondé esta pantalones?" According to Lupita, he'd died without his pants on. Andy explained to her that it was crossed phone lines.

Lupita did it, but she complained the entire time. This happened right before Andy discovered the rat bandit, and he and Doug destroy Nancy's house. There really is an Ameci's Pizza in Lancaster, which houses the same area code (661) as Agrestic.

Celia confessed to Dean about her affair (one time only) with Conrad. At first, Dean is not interested in talking about it. Then, he asked her if Conrad was good, and she said "very". During this conversation, he referred to Conrad as "our black guy", and questioned Celia about their experience.
