Sanjay pointedly confronted Conrad about this issue, and wanted to know why Conrad was allowed to call her baby and he was not. Conrad simpled it up with a quick "it's a black thing". Sanjay accepted this, but was not pleased. He told Conrad to help him carry supplies into the store.

Conrad became instantly upset. He told her she'd stepped into "it" and she was not dragging trouble through his house. He said their deal to grow marijuana was completely finished and to stay away from Heylia's house. I think Conrad's concern was valid, and also held a tinge of disappointment.

He'd finally found a way to keep Nancy close by him, and she'd gone and messed it all up. She accused him of being jealous of Peter, which I am sure he was, but he told her if the man had been a travel agent he wouldn't be leaving her.

Conrad explained that when he was young, his mother had drunkenly mistaken him for his father. She shot him in his leg and then he went to live with Heylia. When his pain meds left him unable to stay awake, Heylia switched him to weed. Thus, her weed empire began. Conrad told Nancy that Heylia used to work in a warehouse store, like Costco.

Celia was in a small auto accident because of an area that did not have a stop light. Well, truthfully the accident was caused because she was fighting with Isabelle in the car. The lady that hit her was driving without a license and afraid her employer would be mad. So, the lady drove off from the scene, leaving Celia very upset. When Celia went to the council to ask for a light to be installed, Doug Wilson completely ignored her request. He even shot a paper football at her!
So, while commiserating with Nancy later that evening, Nancy suggested to Celia that she run for the council. Celia was intrigued, and even more so by the fact that it was Doug's seat up that very year!
I suspect that the employer (of the hit and runner) who may make the lady sleep with the "corn snake" is Doug's wife Dana, whom we've never seen, so far.

Silas brought this to his mother's attention after she came home from Peter's house. She asked Lupita to do the dishes by hand, but Lupita refused. Nancy hinted at firing her, and Lupita subtly reminded Nancy that she knew too much to ever be fired. In the next episode, it's her ice maker!

Dean came in a bit later, and offered to be her campaign manager. Celia rudely declined his offer, and then Doug walked in to confront Celia. Dean told Doug he'd happily back him against his own wife!

Meital Dohan played Yael. She patiently listened to Andy's attempt to get into the school. Then, she told him he was full of it and to leave. He begged for another chance. She agreed to give him five minutes to explain why it was so dire he get into the school. Later, we see him working on his acceptance essay, which would hinge his getting into the school.

It was titled "What Being a Jew Means to Me".

Andy was working on his rabbinical school essay, Silas was going to Megan's, and Nancy'd had enough. She ordered Andy to clear off the table and ordered Silas to cancel with Megan.

When Nancy asked Silas about any tests he'd had, he said he didn't take French, he took Spanish. He was loath to participate in any way with their faux family dinner. This scene is when Andy revealed the name of his acceptance essay.

When Nancy arrived on scene, she and Andy talked with a fire fighter. He explained that the preliminary cause appeared to be employee neglect and stupidity. When the duo looked over at Sanjay, who was breathing through an oxygen mask, he smiled and raised his eyebrows like "see what I did".
Sanjay overheard Nancy and Conrad discussing the potential success of arson earlier in the episode. Conrad told her only people on "The Sopranos" got away with arson. Well, we'll see...
