Clarke, born on January 16th, 1972 in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada landed the guest starring role of Scott Dunn for this episode of the series' second season. Clarke portrayed Scott Dunn for a total of two episodes of "Castle". He has also guest starred on the TV series, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "CSI: Miami".
2. Who appeared as Jason Avery?

Answer: Leonard Roberts

Roberts, a native of St. Louis, Missouri was cast in the guest starring role of Jason Avery, a Special Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (F.B.I.). The team had a difficult time pinpointing the killer in this episode since he was a very intelligent serial murderer who utilized difficult clues in regards to his kills. While at police headquarters, Richard and the others discussed the serial killer's motive. Just then, Javier entered to say they identified the third victim: Sandra Keller.

Richard, Kate and the rest of the team descended upon a building near the end of the episode as they closed in on the killer. However, the killer escaped so the team looked through his apartment to find out more clues regarding his next kill. They were surprised to see that he tried to put together a bomb there.
