Tarin Faroush had been one of President Omar Hassan's security agents, and he was also Kayla Hassan's boyfriend. Unbeknownst to both of them, he was working with the terrorists, and he was tasked with picking up President Hassan in exchange for not detonating a dirty bomb in New York City.

After he discovered he was being tailed by Jack Bauer, he entered a parking garage, switched Hassan to another car and then proceeded to drive his car off of the roof of the garage. He was dead when Bauer reached him.

In the last hour of Day 8, Kayla Hassan and Kamistani diplomat Jamot were at the United Nations, and Jim Ricker was at his apartment.

Answer: Kim Bauer

Kim Bauer only appeared in the first two hours of Day 8. Jack Bauer had told her that he was returning to Los Angeles with her, but she then convinced him to stay in New York to help CTU prevent the assassination of President Omar Hassan. She apparently then left for Los Angeles with her husband and daughter.

At the end of Day 8, as Bauer was leaving per President Taylor's advice, he asked Chloe O'Brian to look after Kim and her family. Kevin Wade's friend, Nick, died when he tried to kill Cole Ortiz, but Ortiz shot him first in the ninth hour. Police officer Koernig and his wife were killed by the Russian assassin Davros in the second hour.

The Russian sniper, Pavel Tokarev, died memorably in the twenty-first hour, when Jack Bauer disemboweled him to recover a cell phone SIM card that he had swallowed.

President Omar Hassan had turned himself over to the terrorists to prevent them from detonating a dirty bomb in New York City. Although Jack Bauer and Renee Walker were close to rescuing him, they arrived too late - he was killed by the terrorists in the sixteenth hour. Sergei Bazhaev had been arrested for his involvement with the uranium rods and was in court when Jack Bauer talked to him in the eighteenth hour. Brian Hastings had been relieved of duty as CTU director in the seventeenth hour, and Tim Woods was with President Taylor at the United Nations at the end of Day 8.

Answer: Arlo Glass

Arlo Glass helped CTU and the President locate Jack Bauer just in time before Logan's team killed him. Glass was at CTU watching Bauer leave as the day ended. The Russian assassin Davros was killed by Jack Bauer in the fourth hour just as Davros was about to execute Cole Ortiz. Josef Bazhaev had stolen the uranium rods from his father and had made a deal to deliver them to Farhad Hassan, but he was shot by Hassan's men in the ninth hour as he tried to leave with the rods. Farhad Hassan was shot shortly thereafter in the tenth hour as he tried to escape from the men who had turned against him.

Answer: Samir Mehran

Terrorist Samir Mehran survived Jack Bauer's assault on the location where the terrorists had killed President Omar Hassan, but he was killed shortly after by an injection given by a paramedic (who turned out to be Russian assassin Pavel Tokarev) in the seventeenth hour. Ethan Kanin had resigned from President Taylor's administration in the nineteenth hour. Both General Brucker and Rob Weiss had been arrested in the fifteenth hour for their involvement in the plot to turn President Hassan over to the terrorist in exchange for preventing an attack on New York City.

Answer: Russian President Suvarov

Jack Bauer had President Suvarov in his rifle crosshairs when Chloe O'Brian managed to talk Bauer out of assassinating him in the last hour of Day 8. Oleg Bazhaev, who was dying from radiation poisoning, was shot by his father in the sixth hour, Vladimir Laitanan was stabbed multiple times by Renee Walker in the seventh hour, and Mikhail Novakovich was impaled by Jack Bauer in the twenty-second hour.

Answer: Dana Walsh

Based on the "24" blogs, this was the most anticipated death on Day 8. The initially wimpy character of Dana Walsh was not very popular, although she did get more interesting when she was revealed to be a mole working with the terrorists. She finally met her death in the twentieth hour at the hands of Jack Bauer.

As of the end of day eight, Dalia Hassan was at the United Nations, Eden Linley was locked up at CTU, and Meredith Reed was locked up per the President's instructions (and was probably soon released).

Answer: Charles Logan

Although Charles Logan shot himself in the head in the last hour of Day 8, Tim Woods told President Taylor that Logan was expected to survive. Jason Pillar had been killed by Logan shortly before Logan turned the gun on himself. Marcos Al-Zacar died when Jack Bauer was unable to disarm the suicide vest Al-Zacar was wearing in the eleventh hour, and Bill Prady, Kevin Wade's probation officer, was killed by Dana Walsh in the thirteenth hour.

Answer: Renee Walker

Renee Walker died in the seventeenth hour of Day 8, after being shot through Jack Bauer's apartment window by Russian sniper, Pavel Tokarev. At the end of Day 8, Jack Bauer was apparently leaving the country, Chloe O'Brian was running CTU as the interim director, and Cole Ortiz was with O'Brian at CTU.

Answer: President Taylor

President Taylor was at the United Nations at the end of Day 8. She had ended the peace conference and was getting ready to announce her resignation due to her involvement in the activities of the day. Victor Aruz, the informant who told Jack Bauer about the assassination plot against President Hassan, died on a rooftop in the first hour of Day 8 when the helicopter that had been sent to take him to CTU was hit by a missile fired by Russian assassin Davros. Kevin Wade was killed by his friend Nick in the ninth hour, and Ziya Dakhilov, the Russian hardware store worker who survived Renee Walker's amputation of his thumb, died when he was shot by Vladimir Laitanan in the fifth hour of Day 8.
