Rooker, born on April 6th, 1955 in Jasper, Alabama landed the guest starring part of Marcus Wexler for this episode of "Las Vegas". Wexler was a known art thief whose name was brought up. He only appeared once as the character of Marcus Wexler. He has also guest starred on the TV series', "CSI: Miami", "The Walking Dead" and "Psych".

Krupa, a native of Warsaw, Poland was cast as Nicole for this episode of the series. Krupa portrayed Nicole for only this "Las Vegas" episode. She has also had guest starring stints on the TV shows, "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation", "Son of the Beach" and "Cubed".

The episode began with Sam at an art exhibit with a gentleman as they looked at a picture which looked very attractive to the guy. He asked who painted that portrait so Sam told him it was Monet. They continued to chat for a couple more minutes before Sam went back out onto the casino floor.

Sam spoke with Ed about a wealthy client named Chip Hachmeister who had an affinity for Monet paintings. According to Sam, Chip would go elsewhere unless a particular Monet painting was in his room. As the opening credits rolled, Mike, Ed and Danny were all in Ed's office to discuss a recent theft that had occurred at the Montecito's art gallery. Ed claimed that a piece from Edgar Degas had been stolen and how valuable it was so therefore he needed it back quickly. He informed both Danny and Mike that he notified the cops and insurance company about the theft.

Danny and Mike went out to a person's home and Danny was seen calling for Steve. They entered the premises and saw that it had been ransacked. Steve and his boyfriend appeared and started to argue in front of Danny and Mike.
