The lady said she would pass on the drink since she wanted to lose some weight in order to fit into her grandmother's wedding dress. In confidence, the male guest told Sam he did not think he could get married.

In Danny's first scene, he spoke with A.J. and A.J. mentioned that he would be sending Danny out of town to his home state of Wyoming. Danny inquired as to why A.J. wanted him to go there so A.J. said he wanted Danny to purchase a horse for him. Danny reluctantly agreed to do this for A.J.

As the opening credits rolled, A.J. spoke with Delinda about his bad experience the previous night at one of the restaurants she supervised. She mentioned how things had been sour since Wolfgang was fired but she worked on revitalizing the place. A.J. suggested she immediately hire a new chef.

Right after Delinda heard A.J.'s advice about hiring a new chef, she felt her baby kick. A.J. got up to feel her stomach and he mentioned to her that the process of a fetus kicking the stomach was called "quickening". In a later scene, Delinda asked Sam to touch her stomach so she could feel the kick.

Sam saw a guest looking around so she went over to ask him if she could help him out. He said he was there to visit Piper but Sam said Piper did not commence work for another hour. The guest then informed her he would wait at the bar area until Piper started her work day. Piper later heard the guest play a beautiful song on the hotel piano.

Midway through the episode, Danny was in Wyoming where he came close to reaching a deal in regards to purchasing a horse. However, the owner then notified him that he forgot to disclose how the horse in question was taken off the auction list. He explained how his son loved the horse that he could not devastate him by selling the animal. Danny suggested he speak with the son and convince him to give up the horse.

The owner took Danny back to his home and promised he would sell him the horse if he was persuasive with his son.

Danny spoke with the owner's son about the horse and noticed on the boy's computer that he had an image of Fergie on his desktop. Danny claimed to also be a fan of Fergie's while then promising the boy a VIP experience in Las Vegas if the boy let Danny take his horse.

The boy agreed, pleasing Danny very much. The Fergie reference was an inside joke regarding portrayer Josh Duhamel's (Danny) relationship with Fergie during the taping of this episode. The two subsequently married approximately one year after this episode's original broadcast.

Sam had a stern talking to the man who earlier said he was unsure about marrying his fiancée. The man said the reason was he loved how cute she looked when she had her muffin top and now looks too thin. When Sam convinced him to love her for who she was, he hugged her just as his fiancée arrived.

She misinterpreted the hug for an affair between the two and broke off her engagement to him.
