The episode kicked off with a look at the Montecito's interior as The Beach Boy's hit classic, "Little St. Nick", played. A scene was shot from the Montecito pool to show guests relaxing. Despite the episode's time frame being in December, Las Vegas still looked rather sunny throughout the show.

In Mike's first scene, he went to speak with the ladies about Christmas and how he had vacation coming up. Mike felt guilty about getting time off since the ladies had to work during the holiday season. Mike then mentioned how his favorite film was "A Christmas Carol".

Sam walked down some stairs to let Mike know about how thrilled she was to be getting twice her usual Christmas bonus. According to Sam, she made sure to tend to a major Montecito client by the name of Linus Phillips. Mike was in his office when he started to doze off after being bombarded with work. He then had a dream that was a parody of the famous Charles Dickens classic story, "A Christmas Carol". In the dream, he was visited by three spirits who showed him his past, present and future. Based on how the dream played out, Mike behaved similarly to Ebenezer Scrooge from "A Christmas Carol".

As the opening credits rolled, Danny approached A.J. about conducting a business deal between two potential clients. A.J. wondered why Danny had discussed this with him when he had not made the decision on which client to select. A.J. asked Danny to make the choice by that evening since he planned out a huge trail ride.

As Mike's dream progressed, he was visited by a second spirit portrayed by the staffer, Piper Nielsen. He mentioned to her how he already received a visit from Sam. According to Mike, Sam kept hitting him and this infuriated him since he already considered Sam a somewhat difficult person.

Midway through Mike's dream, the second spirit took him to a Christmas display where adult women could meet with a half naked man dressed as Santa Claus. Two women there got into a fight that resulted in the display serving as the backdrop being destroyed. Mitch was seen during this part of the dream trying to resolve the fight.

There was one scene where Sam went down to a homeless shelter that she feared might be a scam. She preferred to check it out herself so therefore she went to the facility and was met by an angry woman who had hoped they could get a huge donation from the Montecito. Sam said that might be arranged but she first needed a tour.

The lady offered her one right then and there while Sam accepted the offer.
