Miles went down to the creek to get some water for Daniel so he could use it on Charlotte. Sawyer mentioned that Juliet wanted Daniel to tell her why Charlotte had a seizure. Daniel mentioned to Juliet that Charlotte's seizure likely came from a neurological disorder.

There was a flash forward scene in which Jack tended to Sayid at the hospital after he was drugged. Sayid woke up so Jack did a quick examination but Sayid was in a hurry to get out and go find Hurley. Jack assured Sayid that Hurley was with Ben and Ben would not hurt him since he was now on their side. Sayid told Jack he was not convinced since he felt Ben was only on his own side.

Sayid was in his hospital room when an employee of the hospital came in to give him some medication. He mentioned that he would not have to give him an injection and instead could just slip the medication in his IV. Then, the employee got out a dart gun to shoot at Sayid but all he hit was the bed, as Sayid moved in time to avoid the darts.

He attacked the employee and asked him who he was so the employee told him to look in his pocket since he would find an important address there. Sayid then shot some darts into the employee.

Kate was in her car in one flash forward scene and Jack noticed her so he went to go talk to her. Kate commented on how he shaved his beard so Jack simply said that he needed a change. Kate then said she could not speak to Jack at that time so Jack asked her what the problem was but Kate assured him everything was fine.

Miles and a couple others were walking through the jungle so Miles informed Daniel how he had a nosebleed. He insisted that they not say anything so as to not freak out anybody else. He asked Daniel how he could have gotten the nosebleed so Daniel said a lot of exposure to the sun could have caused it. Miles doubted this due to how the survivors of Oceanic 815 had been there for months and not gotten a nosebleed whereas he was just there for a couple of weeks.

In one flash forward scene, Dan went to go talk to Ben Linus about something which took place with Hurley at a mental institution in Santa Rosa. Sayid was with him and listened to Dan and Ben's entire conversation. When Dan left, Sayid asked Ben who that was and Ben said that Dan was his lawyer.
