1. Why was Cheers holding an auction?

Answer: For the Children's Hospital

The guys were auctioned off as dates to raise money for this charity. At first, Sam was not asked to be one of the guys auctioned off but he fought for it and got to be one of the guys.
2. What drink did Frasier order for Lilith and himself?

Answer: champagne

This was before the two of them started fighting. Frasier made the mistake of asking Lilith to sign something.

Answer: a prenuptial agreement

All four of these things were true, but what had her upset in this episode was the fact that he asked her to sign a prenuptial agreement. We won't find out about Frasier's previous marriage until season 10.
