This show began at Highland High School where graduation day was upon the students at Highland High School. Mr. Van Driessen instructed the students and brought up some concerns he had with them. He claimed that numerous pupils indicated a low self-esteem to him and he brought up how keys to success were self-esteem and motivation.

Mr. Van Driessen grew weary once noticing how none of his class would answer his question on identifying self-esteem and motivation. He turned to Beavis in hopes he could answer his inquiry. Beavis said he had no clue what they meant so Butt-head simply laughed at how dumb Beavis was.
