In the clip, Kate commented on how great it was the Martin family could all be together and it reminded her of what Tiny Tim from "A Christmas Carol" once said: "God bless us, everyone." Ray spoke about how family relationships were so integral and important to the Martin family. Mary Fickett, who originated the role of Ruth Martin, sat next to Ray and also spoke about the Martins through the years.

Ruth commented how she has learned over the years to not inject your own personality into a character but to play that role for how the writers intended for it to be played.

Carol did a talk with long running actor Michael E. Knight, who has played Tad Martin off and on since 1982. She spoke to him about how the first story of Tad's she can remember is the wild love triangle between Marian/Tad/Liza and how interesting it was since Marian and Liza were mother and daughter.

This story took place in 1983 and involved Tad simultaneously wooing both women. Knight laughingly stated how that story involved a lot of jumping in and out of bed.

Burnett discussed social issue stories from the show's past and commented on the great way "All My Children" tells stories which affect us in real life. She mentioned how the one story which she will always remember and stands out the most for her is when Brooke found her daughter, Laura, died.

In the scene they showed, Brooke was with Adam when Tom Cudahy, Laura's father, went to her and told her Laura had been hit by a car. Tom told Brooke the sad news as to how the head injury was too severe and Laura was gone. Brooke broke down over her daughter's death but agreed to have her organs donated to save other peoples' lives. For these scenes, the actress who played Brooke, Julia Barr, won her first Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 1990.

Carol spoke about the amount of shows which "All My Children" produces every year and that, with the rate they go, there are going to be some mistakes. This is when they showed some bloopers over the years and the first one was a scene which involved Eileen Herlie (Myrtle) and Kathleen Noone (Ellen). Eileen, as Myrtle, commented on how it was time to get readjusted to time in Spring Valley.

Carol decided to slip into a comedic scene to pay homage to her many years as a comedienne and play the role of Erica Kane as she saw fit. A voice-over said, "Tonight, the role of Erica Kane will be played by Carol Burnett." For the first part of this comedic scene, they redid the scene in which Dimitri and Erica waltzed in Budapest on their honeymoon but this time with Carol as Erica.

In the next part of the scene, Richard Shoberg appeared as Tom Cudahy and commented on how great Erica was. For the next part of the scene, Walt Willey appeared as Jack and commented on how he hoped Erica was happy. Michael E. Knight appeared next as Tad Martin in a scene taped on the Glamorama set.
