When Oliver chose to go after Edward Rasmus in the previous episode because Rasmus was coming after Laurel, Diggle quit the team after telling Oliver that he was basically selfish for implying that Deadshot was just a personal vendetta. He told Oliver that the Arrow taking out Rasmus was just as personal to Oliver because it was Laurel in danger. Felicity tells Oliver he needs to admit he made the wrong choice and apologize to Diggle. Oliver tells Felicity that going after Rasmus instead of Deadshot is a choice he can live with.

Malcolm's wife was murdered in the Glades. Since then, he has lost hope that the Glades can be fixed. He plans to create a natural disaster using a special device that is under development. The device won't be ready for 5 years but when it is, it will have the power to level the Glades down to the bedrock. Robert objects to the idea, but Malcolm is persistent, saying it's the only way to fix Starling City.

Felicity had come up into the club to tell Oliver that she had gotten some info from the laptop he had given her to hack into. When she sees them together she nervously starts rambling, as Felicity usually does. Laurel isn't sure what Felicity is doing at the closed nightclub, but before Felicity can continue babbling out an answer, Oliver comes to her rescue and makes up a lie about Felicity being there to set up his internet.

Answer: "We do it my way"

Felicity had suggested before the discussion that it was too bad Diggle wasn't around since it would be nice to have the extra help. Oliver dismisses her hints that he mend fences with Diggle, and says that the two of them are capable of pulling off the mission without Diggle.

Answer: Merlyn Global Group

Viewers have heard the name mentioned in several episodes by now and in this episode, the name can be seen on a sign atop the building when Laurel arrives at Merlyn Global Group to speak with Tommy. Laurel has come to tell Tommy that she loves him, but Tommy shocks Laurel when he tells her that Oliver is still in love with her.

The plan that Felicity and Oliver came up with involved Felicity entering the casino and then getting caught counting cards. Once she gets caught, they hoped she would be brought into a back office to talk to Dominic Alonzo himself. At that point, she is to secure a micro transmitter to Alonzo's computer all without getting busted and/or killed. Oliver reminds her that he'll be right outside the casino, ready to come in, should the plan fall apart.

Answer: Megan

Megan is Felicity's middle name as revealed in an earlier episode. Alonzo appears like he is about to let her go, but suddenly reveals that he knows card counters usually work with a partner. He then pulls out the ear piece she was using to communicate with Oliver and smashes it. As he does so, Felicity warns him that he's going to be upset when he finds out who her partner is.

Answer: A tenement building in Blüdhaven

Oliver asks Felicity to pull up the satellite view of the area and they discover that the tenement building is heavily guarded by armed personnel. It seems highly suspect that a low income tenement building would have such high levels of security, so they determine it must be the place that Malcolm is holding Walter. Felicity notes that the safest way in would be through the roof where there is only one guard patrolling.

Answer: "Because it wouldn't be true"

Oliver tells Laurel that he has enough lies in his life already. Oliver walks away from Laurel without saying anything else, and leaves her standing there shocked, teary eyed, and breathless from the magnitude of his revelation

Answer: "I need your help to stop them"

Felicity had been trying to get Oliver and Diggle to get together and talk things through for the whole episode. She even went to Diggle's house to ask him to let Oliver off the hook. Oliver finally caves when he realizes how much he needs Diggle on his side, so he goes to Diggle's apartment to apologize. While they are talking, the scene switches to a scene with a truck carrying the device that is meant to destroy the Glades.
