Answer: Ted Gaynor once saved Diggle's life

Diggle explains to Oliver that Ted Gaynor was his commanding officer during his first tour in Afghanistan. Ted Gaynor not only saved Diggle's life while serving in Afghanistan, he also received a commendation for doing so. Oliver tells Diggle he's sorry, but Ted Gaynor is still on the list, and as such, he has to go after him.

Answer: For Tommy and him to be close

Malcolm tells Tommy that he's sorry for being so hard on him and for all the hurtful things he's said to him. He says he still wants what he's always wanted for them, which is for them to be close. Tommy softens at hearing his father's words and tells him he will see if Laurel is free for dinner.

Answer: John Diggle

Diggle has shown up at Gaynor's office and pulls his gun on Oliver, demanding that he drop the bow. Oliver, who had his arrow aimed at Ted Gaynor, quickly switches targets and shoots out a light fixture. This temporarily blinds Diggle and Gaynor, giving Oliver enough time to get away, grabbing Gaynor's security key fob as he goes.

Answer: Moira Queen

Moira is talking to Malcolm when she says it. Malcolm has asked her to talk some sense into one of their colleagues who is causing trouble for Malcolm's plans for an undertaking. Moira says she will, but only if Malcolm gives her proof that Walter is still alive. Malcolm asks if his word isn't enough, to which Moira replies with the trust but verify quote.

Answer: Robert was unfaithful to her first

Moira explains to Oliver that Robert was repeatedly unfaithful to her and that it made their marriage difficult to say the least. Moira tells Oliver she's sorry, but his father wasn't the man Oliver thinks he was. Fearing it will ruin Thea's memory of Robert, Moira asks Oliver to not tell Thea about Robert's unfaithfulness.

Answer: Arthur

Malcolm explains that Tommy wanted to use Arthur because of the connection to their own name, Merlyn, as in Merlin the wizard from the tales of King Arthur. Malcolm then tells Laurel that his dead wife/Tommy's mom, would have liked Laurel. The conversation becomes awkward from there prompting Malcolm to apologize, explaining that the topic of his dead wife has a tendency to make him a little bit maudlin.

Answer: A bottle of wine

Oliver asked Felicity for her help under the pretense that the security key fob is part of a scavenger hunt set up by one of his rich friends. He explains that hidden in the key fob is the location to a whole case of Lefite Rothschild 1982; which is a ridiculously expensive wine. Felicity says she loves red wine and Oliver tells her she can have one of the bottles if she can successfully crack the encryption.

Answer: Being a jerk

Laurel tells Tommy that in his own twisted way, Malcolm probably thinks he's being protective of Tommy. She says Malcolm might be a jerk, but he is still Tommy's father. Laurel notes that Tommy doesn't talk about his mother very often, if at all, and Tommy explains he was only 8 when she died and he doesn't remember much about what happened.

Answer: You see the best in people

Diggle was against Oliver going after Ted Gaynor for most of this episode and it wasn't until the very end that he realized Gaynor really was a bad guy. In this scene, Diggle feels bad because his blind trust of Gaynor ended up putting Carly and his nephew in danger. Oliver says the above quote to Diggle and then hands him his father's notebook so that Diggle can cross out Gaynor's name himself.

Answer: The truth

Oliver had tried to hide his identity using a balaclava to blend in with Fyers' men through most of the episode's flashbacks. When Fyers imprisons Oliver after figuring out who he was, he explains that the reason he makes his men wear balaclavas is because balaclavas mask everything but the eyes, and in a man's eyes one can always find the truth.
