"As the World Turns" has the Lakeview Hotel while "Guiding Light" has the Beacon (near the old lighthouse, hence the name "Guiding Light").

Although some of the characters on "As the World Turns" are shady and have mob connections (Dusty Donovan), the Santos family was without a doubt once a part of the mob on "Guiding Light." They eventually went legit.
