Answer: Santa Barbara

"Santa Barbara" was a great show that was not given a fair shot, in my opinion. "Santa Barbara" also featured future famous actresses, Tea Leoni and Bridgett Wilson.
5. This soap won the "Outstanding Drama Series" Emmy award in 2001 and 2003. It features such characters as Rosanna Montgomery, Jack Snyder, and Barbara Ryan.

6. This soap was responsible for the first story about human cloning.

Answer: The Guiding Light

"The Guiding Light" cloned one of its main characters, Reva Shayne Lewis. Her clone's name was Dolly. This was another silly plot that caused me to bid farewell to this show.
7. This show, which was a spinoff of "General Hospital", spent 2 years telling the story of vampires.

Answer: Port Charles

This show, which was cancelled in 2003, told stories in 13 week arcs. Once one story ended, another would begin. Some characters disappeared after the arc was over, and some stayed and were featured in the next arc. Caleb, one of the vampires, was featured in many of the story arcs.

Answer: Ryan's Hope

This soap began the careers of "Melrose Place's" Grant Show, and "Baywatch" beauty, Yasmine Bleeth.
10. I've saved the best for last. This show began in 1964 and took place in Bay City, Ill. It featured one of the greatest soap love stories with the pairing of Ryan Harrison and Vicki Hudson. Do you know the name of this great show?

In my humble opinion, "Another World" was the best soap on television. It had great characters and exciting and complex storylines. It was taken long before it's time in June of 1999.
