When they all escaped, Shell experienced a bout of road-rage when another car tried to cut her up. She went after the other car, they collided and the van came off worse. The trio were forced to abandon the van, but as Shaz climbed out of the back, she tripped on a bundle of wires and broke her ankle. Shaz persuaded Denny to leave without her and as the two said an emotional goodbye, Shell managed to flag down a passing taxi.

Shell instructed the driver to take them to Kings Cross and as the taxi pulled way, Denny stared mournfully out of the back window at Shaz.

Buki blackmailed Denny and Shaz to let her in on the plan and they had no choice but to agree. Later, Buki was digging in the tunnel when Hollamby collared her lookouts, Shaz and Denny, and ordered them back inside for lock-up. Inside, Hollamby realised that she was an inmate down. She putstwo and two together after finding a pair of Shaz's muddy shoes and raced out to the potting shed. It looked a little too late for Buki who was buried under the now collapsed tunnel.

This was in series 4, episode 5 - "Only The Lonely".

When they were left alone in the art room, Shaz clogged up the lock with blu-tack to ensure their privacy and then produced a bag of magic mushrooms.
