The Mayor and Mr. Trick are in the Mayor's office, and the Mayor says, 'I realize it is early - for you - but I think you'll agree that this matter is urgent, also delicate.' Mr Trick replies with, 'I'm a very delicate person.' Which, actually isn't true because he's not really a person.

The Mayor opens his closet and we find in there all these magical things, like bottles full of various liquids and a skull.

Buffy tells Willow and Oz 'And then I was being chased by an improperly filled-in answer bubble screaming, "none of the above!"' Willow goes, 'Wow. I hope that wasn't one of your prophecy dreams. Probably not.' The banner was strung out across the second floor outdoor walkway, and seen just above the outdoor staircase in the courtyard.

Principal Snyder makes the Scoobies sell the band candy even though they're not in the band. Though he seemed pushy, you have to understand that his orders came down from Mayor Wilkins.

Joyce doesn't take to kindly to Buffy's wanting to drive, as Buffy had run away the summer before, she didn't want to enable Buffy to be driving along the highway anywhere she pleased. Buffy pointed out that she could just as easily get on a bus, but it still didn't have that much sway in her mother's decision.

Buffy thinks 'Okay, you're just doing this to take funny pictures of me.' (You being Giles). Giles says, 'I'm doing it to test your awareness of an opponent's location during a fight in total darkness. Now, wait five seconds and then throw the ball at me.' Buffy, 'You ran out of new training ideas about a week ago, huh?'

Buffy says this to Angel when he asks her how she got away. Buffy jokingly says, 'Aw, it was easy. Started a fire in the prison laundry room. Rode out in the garbage truck.' Angel goes, 'Oh.' Buffy, 'I'm joking. No garbage. Smell me.'

Cordelia says, 'Get in line!' Miss Barton referred to Snyder as "commandant" in this scene. That is a person who commands a military team, so she was sort of calling him a drill sergeant.

This is when Buffy goes to the factory where the chocolate bars are being made, and she finds Giles and Joyce making out. Buffy tries to make her mother act like a mother, and so she points out the dent in the car, but Joyce just goes, 'Oh, my god! What was I thinking when I bought the geek machine?'

Joyce says this in the Summers' living room when she and Giles are talking to Buffy about how she lied to them both to sneak out and see Angel. When Joyce said it, she sounded like a teenager speaking already.

Willow, 'Kiss rocks? Why would anyone want to kiss - oh, wait, I get it.' The adults all reverted to teenhood, so the rock band Kiss would have rocked in their day.
