9. Who was the radio DJ who kept talking about Bandit and the events of the movie?

Answer: Big Bob Bentley

He was played by Richard Belzer. Big Bob Bentley was the first journalist to crack the story about the prototype car being missing and kept his listeners apprised of the situation the whole day.

He even left open lines for people with cell phones to call in updates to the show. Remember this was 1994, cellphones weren't all that common.
10. At the end of the movie, Bandit had failed to recover the car and was arrested for stealing it.

Answer: False

He managed to catch up to Chuck Pony and get the car out of the back of his truck. Then he took the car and ended up at the Governor's mansion with the car. Of course he couldn't just show up driving the car, he hooked it to a chain and had it flown in to the press conference by helicopter.
