Disappointingly, this is a group of fully-dressed men posing under a false name. They had hit songs in the '90s like "One Week" and "Old Apartment".

Sometimes they have performed variations of the theme song with different lyrics, such as lyrics mentioning the characters and lyrics mentioning the days of the week the show is on.

Answer: Shania Twain

Penny dances to the song "Man, I Feel Like a Woman!" which seems to fit her personality very well. Sheldon is not happy to see this in his apartment.

Answer: Beyonce

The next thing Raj says as "as my girl Beyonce says 'If you like it, you shoulda put a ring on it.'" He says this to Leonard after Leonard tells his friends that Penny is having a musician friend sleep in her apartment.

This isn't the only time in the series Raj is revealed to be a fan of Beyonce. In season 5, Raj brings a disc titled "Beyonce Bootylicious Remix" into the car for the guys (and later Penny) to listen to. It turns out not to be Beyonce at all, but seeing as it was a re-writable disc, it can be assumed Beyonce's music was on the disc at some point.

Raj happily tells the other guys that Howard's theme song for him is "Brown-Eyed Girl". Soon he realizes Howard doesn't mean this is a compliment.

The University tells Sheldon that he has to use his vacation days, so Leonard drives to work rejoicing in what he thinks is his first day of freedom in a long time. He blasts some music in the car, specifically the song "I Gotta Feeling". However, just as he's really about to get into the music, Sheldon, obviously not enjoying it, pops out from under a blanket and unpleasantly surprises Leonard.

Sheldon tells Leonard that he is planning on sneaking into work. Leonard turns the car around and takes him home.

After they, to the pleasant surprise of them both, discover that they both like Neil Diamond, they are seen rocking out together to his music multiple times throughout the episode. Songs in the episode include "Sweet Caroline", "America", and "Cherry Cherry".

Earlier in the episode, the girls watched a video of Bernadette singing "Wannabe" in a beauty pageant. That is what Penny is referencing here.

Sheldon and Leonard are asked to give a presentation at a university. Sheldon then realizes that they aren't far from Skywalker Ranch and asks Leonard to take them there. They go there. This puts Sheldon in such a good mood that he uncharacteristically asks Leonard to "Play That Funky Music White Boy".

It turns out Sheldon did not know the song and didn't even realize he was saying a well-known musical lyric. He didn't even like the song.

There is one episode that centers around Sheldon having a song stuck in his head. He can't figure out what song this is nor can he get it out of his head. He'd never had a song stuck in his head before, so he thinks he's going crazy. Eventually, he realizes the song is "Darlin'" by the Beach Boys.

He also concludes that he had it stuck in his head because it reminded him of Amy and how much he misses him.

Amy has played "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi and "Girl From Ipanema" with in front of Sheldon, hoping he'd sing along. Sheldon was disinterested both times. One time, Sheldon was worried about Amy, so he went to her house. His worries were confirmed to be correct when she played and sang "Everybody Hurts".

She was hurt that Penny and Bernadette went to shop for wedding dresses without her. This made her feel unwanted.
