Sorrell Booke appeared in many movies over his career including, 'Slaughterhouse Five' and 'Freaky Friday'. He can also be seen in some episodes of 'M*A*S*H' as General Bradley Barker. In his later years he did cartoon voices such as Sheriff Buzby in 'Scooby Doo Meets the Boo Brothers'. Sadly Sorrell Booke passed away in 1994.

It's funny how opposite they were, and it is funny that the good twin wore black and the bad twin wore white. Abraham Lincoln Hogg only appeared in one episode 'Baa Baa White Sheep'.

Rick Hurst played Cletus Hogg, he has also appeared in many movies including 'Steel Magnolias', 'Anywhere But Here' and 'The Cat From Outer Space' (which also starred Sorrell Booke). Rick Hurst is also the father of Ryan Hurst. Ryan played Gerry Bertier in 'Remember the Titans', Neil in 'Patch Adams' and Ernie Savage in 'We Were Soldiers'.

When Enos is leaving the show in 'Enos Strait to the Top' he mentions he has to by new uniforms at Boss' Dry Goods Store and in one episode Boss and Rosco fall in cement and the Balladeer Waylon Jennings mentions that Boss owns the cement company. Boss also owned the coffin works, a used car lot, an auto painting business, the Boar's Nest, and he was bank president.

Sorrell Booke was not as round and plump as Boss Hogg. There is one episode where Boss is so worried about his money that he can't eat (gasp!) and has lost weight. You see Sorrell Booke without the padding in this episode.
