I don't want the men on the jury to be putting more clothes on you. Wear something blue it suggests truth, make eye contact with the jury, and loose the clunky necklace."
7. Why does the prosecutor not like putting Dr. Brennan on the stand?

Answer: she can't connect with the jury

Because of Dr. Brennan's inability to connect with the jury, the prosecution was worried that they would not get a conviction in the case. Booth devises a way for the prosecutor to get her to reveal more about herself and why she is a forensic anthropologist allowing the jury to see a more human side of her.
Booth tells Brennan that they are trying for a plea, meaning they know they will be convicted.
