This is episode 12 in season 1. It is about this man on death row that pleads to Grissom via videotape to help him. Eckley found accelerants in his wardrobe and arrested him for murder, Grissom however wanted to find out what really happened. The tension between Eckley and Grissom in this episode is amazing, and you really hope that Grissom can prove Eckley wrong.

Episode number 20 in season 1. The case was about a deaf man that had been beaten up and ran over. This episode looks into the past of Gil and his mother. We learn that his mother became deaf at an early age so she taught Grissom sign language. Grissom uses this sign language to talk to the college professor that can also sign and read lips.

'Table Stakes' is episode 15 in season 1. A dead woman was found floating in a pool that belonged to a legendary showgirl. This episode has one of my favourite scenes in, Eric wearing a big showgirl's hat and dancing around in the lab. Catherine is the first to talk to him but as he is talking to Catherine, Grissom walks up behind him very unimpressed.

Episode number 2 from season 2. The team investigate the disappearance of a female college student that just vanished into thin air. 'Chaos Theory' seems like it will turn out to be a ridiculous outcome, but the ending is quite simple once the team tell you it.

'Slaves of Las Vegas' was the first 'CSI' episode to be rated in the UK as an 18. It is episode number 8 of season 2. A dead body of a woman was found buried in a sandpit, this leads Grissom and his team into the world of sado-masochism. Grissom and Lady Heather begin to bond in this episode, and this relationship continues into season 3.

This episode was number 4 of season 2. The class clown from the local high school is found murderer on campus, it's up to Grissom and his team to find out who was the murderer. Warrick asks Grissom whether he was a nerd or jock in high school, and Grissom replies 'I was a ghost'. Poor Gil.

'The Finger' is one of my favourites. It is found in season 2, episode 14. A very determined kidnapper orders Catherine to accompany a man who must deliver a million dollar ransom if he ever wants to see his mistress alive again. This episode shows Sara actually going out with someone, and the moment is kind of ruined when Catherine places the glass with the finger on her table and walks off.

Season 2, episode 17. 4 Buddhist monks are found murdered, shot in the forehead. The CSIs go to work to find out who would kill 4 unarmed, meditating monks. This episode looks into the world of Buddhism, and what they believe.

This episode is found in season 3, episode 4. A dwarf is found hanging by his neck at a dwarf union, Grissom gets very fascinated about these 'little people' and teaches Nick to be more sensitive when it comes to people with different forms.
