"The Unusual Suspect" is from season six, where the brother is on trial for the murder of a girl from his school. During the trial, his sister says she murdered the girl and had a bloody T-shirt as evidence. Court is adjourned while CSIs re-examine the evidence.

They decide that the brother did it not the sister and proceed with the trial. But the jury finds him not guilty and lets him go. At the end of the episode, the sister tells Sara that her brother really was the killer.

Through pictures on a college website, the CSIs see Marlon getting punched in the face and Hannah grabbing something off the ground. Sara determines that it was the piece of Marlon's tooth they found on Kira's body.

Marlon admits that after being assaulted by Kira's new boyfriend that he asked Hannah to help him make gamma-hydroxybutyric acid which he mixed into her sexual lubricant. After Kira had been drugged, Hannah pushed her bed up to the window and shoved the girl out the window. Then Hannah placed the tooth fragment onto the body, framing Marlon.

She plants a microphone on Marlon as he talks to Hannah from his prison cell. But try as he might, Marlon cannot pull a confession from his sister.

He hangs himself from the window of his cell. After Sara is called by Brass (while trying to have a heart to heart with Grissom) she goes to see the body before going to see Hannah at school. After informing Hannah of her findings and lack of evidence, Sara breaks the news about Marlon.

At first Hannah doesn't believe Sara calling it "a really sad and desperate ploy" (twiztv.com) But after Sara shows her a picture of Marlon's body hanging from the window, Hannah begins screaming at and fighting with Sara calling her a liar before she falls to the ground crying.

She finds Grissom and gives him a big kiss (right in front of Hodges) before going to clean out her locker.

Answer: Ronnie's

We know it is Ronnie's locker because there is a picture of her on the inside of the door. Ronnie was Sara's partner on the swing shift. Sara moved to the swing shift in the episode "A La Cart" after Ecklie learns of her relationship with Grissom. This is against the rules as they work the same shift, so to save their romance, Sara moves to swing shift.

We see her look at it for a second before she throws it out and leaves CSI forever.

As he finishes the letter, Grissom removes his glasses and stares sadly into the camera and the episode ends. Sara would return in at least one more episode, the Season 9 premiere.

When Sara and Ronnie arrived at the home, there was nobody there. Minutes later, the wife shows up with a knife stuck in her back. Shortly after that, her husband comes back and tries to choke her thinking she called the cops on him. As they are separated by Ronnie and the police, Sara just watches before leaving Ronnie in charge of the case. Later, Ronnie catches up with Sara saying the woman decided to go to a shelter to get away from her abusive husband, but we don't know what happened to him or what charges if any were laid.
