This was a truly hilarious episode both for the TV cooking show bit between the Lt. and Dexter Paris AND the grief that Columbo catches from Mrs. Peck, the high strung housekeeper. This episode, aptly named "Double Shock", aired on March 25, 1973 and was the last show in the second season. Also appearing in this episode were Julie Newmar as Lisa Chambers, Jeanette Nolan as Mrs. Peck, Paul Stewart as the murdered uncle and Dabney Coleman played Sgt. Murray.
