As punishment for what she did, Captain Black Jack Cutting used the very same athame and cut the witch's heart out for his own revenge.

The reason why agent Kyle Brody came to San Francisco was because of the blood sample that Inspector Sheridan had recently sent in to be tested. The results came back showing that there was a triple helix, plasma, platelets and RH factors within the blood.

After agent Brody found this out, he went to investigate. According to what agent Brody said, other blood samples came up showing similar things in other parts of the world. For some reason, agent Brody already knew that the Halliwells were witches and he told Inspector Sheridan about the girls and at the end of the episode, Inspector Sheridan saw Piper use her magic.

Piper brought Inspector Sheridan breakfast while Inspector Sheridan was in her car and then she froze her. Piper did this so she could ask Darryl if any witches had recently gone missing. After Piper found out about Brenda Castillo, Phoebe got in her car and drove away as another distraction and Inspector Sheridan unfroze and followed her.

Then, Piper called Paige and told her the news and Paige went to find Brenda.

Captain Black Jack Cutting was the pirates' captain and he was the one that had one of his pirates kidnap Brenda. He was actually using Brenda as a tool to lure the Charmed Ones and when Paige showed up, he cut her with the cursed athame to that Piper and Phoebe had no choice but to help him in regaining his lost youth because if they didn't help him, Black Jack Cutting wouldn't help them with Paige.

Actually, the blood was most likely demonic blood. Inspector Sheridan took the sample of blood from Piper's bedroom and that was where Piper had previously vanquished several demons when she had six arms.

In the episode "Feats of Clay," there was an ancient urn that was cursed. Anyone who tried to steal this Urn would surely die when the Guardian of the Urn found them. There was actually another episode that had a cursed item too. That episode was "Lost and Bound." In the episode "Lost and Bound," Cole gave Phoebe a wedding ring that Grams was married with well over one time.

The ring he gave her wasn't exactly just a wedding ring. It was a cursed wedding ring that Grams had cursed after her last marriage.

After Piper and Phoebe stole the golden chalice that Black Jack Cutting wanted them to steal, they went to where the pirates and their captain were at and they gave it to Black Jack Cutting. Not only was the chalice required to activate the Fountain of Youth, but a spell said by a powerful witch was too.

This is the exact spell that Piper used: "With these offerings, I call to thee, the Goddess of Fertility. Rise now, show us the truth. Give us the gift of eternal youth."

Actually Paige heard about the gathering storm that was on the way before Piper did, when Black Jack Cutting told her. The Elder that told Piper about the storm was actually in a previous episode of "Charmed." He was the Elder that met with Leo on the Golden Gate Bridge in the episode "Bad Bad World."
