"Charmed" Seventh Season: Part Two Quiz

When the Charmed Ones realised that the Avatars, in order to maintain Utopia, were killing conflict-causing people, they decided that it was a too high price to pay. So they went to Zankou for help. The demon told them how to prepare an Avatar-killing potion.

They used it as a leverage to make Avatars rewind the time and make the world normal again. Leo, who sacrificed himself to make the sisters realise the mistake they had made, was brought back to life, but Kyle wasn't: however, he came back as a Whitelighter.

Answer: Professor of Literature

Drake, an ex-demon, came to the Magic School to apply unsolicited for a job. He told Page he was interested in the position of literature teacher. Paige was reluctant to give him this job, since he was an ex - demon. But in the end she gave in. However, Darke told Phoebe that he saw it as a temporary assignment, because the deal that made him human lasted only one year.

When Phoebe asked him how much time he had left, he replied that it was only two weeks.

Answer: Italy

Piper suggested they go on vacation to Italy to distract Leo from his worry about the Elders - he was waiting for their decision to inflict punishment on him for becoming an Avatar. At first Leo was worried about the costs of travel but they just used the orbing - their first destination was Pisa.

But they were forced to interrupt their vacation just when they were about to embark on a gondola in Venice: Paige called them for help in reviving Phoebe and Drake who went to the ghostly Cabaret Fantome.

Answer: Texas

As punishment for turning his back on them and becoming an Avatar, the Elders made Leo mortal and erased his memory. They put him in the middle of a desert in Texas so that his family couldn't find him. There an Elder posing as a truck driver made him join the Elders again.

But Piper, aided by Cole, whom she met on a ghostly plane, when she almost died from a thorn demon's poison, managed to make Leo feel her love for him. The Elders let Leo go: he recovered his memory, but became a mere mortal without any powers.

Answer: A crescent

Zankou sent a demon after Leo to lure him and the Charmed Ones out of the Manor. His objective was to take possession of the Manor, find the Nexus and harness the power of the Shadow. But he was not aware that Piper and Leo stayed behind: they were shrunk and put in a dollhouse by Wyatt.

In order to harness the power of the Shadow, the power of the Three was needed: that's why Zankou restored Piper to her normal size. But when the sisters said the spell to invoke the Shadow, it possessed Leo, who vanquished the demons accompanying Zankou.

Then the Charmed Ones said another spell to dispossess him and the Shadow returned to its abode.

Answer: Hope

Katya was a demon who wanted to open the Pandora's Box. But the only one who could open the box was its Guardian. When Katya killed the Guardian, the box moved on to somebody else. But Hope, the new Guardian, wasn't even aware of her role at first and briefly opened the box. Katya kidnapped her best friend Darcy and threatened to kill her if Hope wouldn't open the box. So Hope did as she was told.

But Katya still didn't want to release neither her nor her friend. The situation was saved by Paige, who shapeshifted into Hope and vanquished the demon.

Answer: Imara

Imara was an upper-level demon who wanted to get the Charmed Ones to help her weaken Zankou by vanquishing demons working for him undercover in the world. She stole a piece of Phoebe's hair in order to swap souls with her. Then, posing as Phoebe, she made Piper vanquish Zankou's allies pretending that she recognized them as demons who had attacked Piper in P3 and the real Phoebe in an elevator.

Then she led them to believe that they had to vanquish Imara as well, but in reality they vanquished only Imara's body and sent Phoebe's soul to a ghostly plane. Fortunately a reversal spell expelled Imara from Phoebe's body, and all ended well.

Answer: A teddy bear

Piper and Leo put Wyatt in a pre-school, but soon they began to worry because he seemed to be talking to himself. They thought Wyatt had an imaginary friend, but it turned out to be a demon named Vicus. Vicus was visible only to Wyatt and managed to talk the two-year old boy into handing over his teddy bear, which he cursed: over the years it was destined to turn him evil.

The adult Wyatt, whom the Charmed Ones brought from the future, didn't want to be turned back good, though; but Leo managed to regain the little Wyatt's trust and made him give the teddy bear back: it lifted the curse and the adult Wyatt was no longer evil.

Answer: By making the sisters emotionally vulnerable

The Book of Shadows was tied to the Charmed Ones' powers and their powers were tied to their emotions. That's why Zankou wanted to weaken them emotionally, by killing people who were important to them: Paige lost her charge, Joanna, and Phoebe saw her fellow student named Tim die only because he was with her. With the Alchemist's help, Zankou revived inspector Davidson and other innocents that the sisters lost over the years. All that made them lose their self-confidence, too and that's how Zankou was able to take control of the 'Book of Shadows'.

Answer: The Seven Year Witch

Cole, condemned to eternity in a limbo without love, wanted to spare his beloved Phoebe the same fate. In order for her to believe in love again, he arranged for Drake to become human and make Phoebe fall in love with him, but also sent a thorn demon after Piper.

When Piper got into a coma, she was able to talk to Cole, who convinced her she should do everything to make Leo feel her love for him in order to get him back. It was a part of his plan to make Phoebe not give upon love: Leo and Piper were for her the model couple, the tangible proof that love existed after all.
