1. What is the "important" message the Doctor has to tell Jackie and Mickey?

Answer: merry christmas

The Doctor: "There was something I had to tell you. Something important. What was it? No, hold on, sh-sh-sh... OH! I know! Merry Christmas!"

He passed out immediately after giving this message.

2. How many times does the Doctor wake up?

Answer: Twice

The first time he wakes up, Rose purposefully awakens him so he can save them from the killer Christmas tree. However, she had awakened him too soon and he passes out again after warning her that something was coming. The second time he wakes up it was thanks to the spilled thermos of tea.

3. What does the Doctor name the masked things which had been controlling the Christmas tree?

Answer: Pilot fish

Mickey looked up pilot fish to see what he meant by that, and discovered that they were tiny fish which swam around sharks.

4. What sarcastic comment does Rose make about tea?

Answer: "Ah, the solution to everything."

Jackie: "Here we go. Nice cup of tea."
Rose: "Ah, the solution to everything."

It actually turns out that it was the solution to everything, as the Doctor woke up as a direct result of Jackie bringing the tea on board.

Arthur Dent is, of course, one of the main characters of Douglas Adams' "Hitchhiker's Trilogy", and was usually seen in a dressing gown.
