Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which reincarnation of the Doctor features in the 2006 series?

Answer: Tenth

The Tenth Doctor was first seen in "The Parting of the Ways" straight after his regeneration from the Ninth Doctor.
2. What are the plastic servants of the Nestenes?

Answer: Autons

The Autons' name comes from the company "Auto Plastics" which manufactured their shells. They looked just like shop dummies. Spider droids are found in "The End of the World" and "New Earth", but sadly, they aren't plastic. Daleks, for obvious reasons, aren't plastic.
3. What creature has become synonymous with Chloe in "Fear Her"?

Answer: Isolus

The Isolus is like a flower, which is used to a family of around four million. It is very sensitive to emotions. Kaled is an anagram of Dalek, and Davros, a Kaled created the Dalek based on his life support chair. He later became a Dalek Emperor. Krillitines are creatures who take the best parts from races they conquer. Ood are servants who just die if not given orders.
4. How did the Wire get destroyed?

Answer: The Doctor taped over it

The Wire did get trapped in a video, but it was the taping over that killed it. However, it fled in its current form.
5. What were the aliens in "The Unquiet Dead" called?

Answer: Gelth

Gelth are gaseous, Slitheen are made of calcium, Quarks are robots, and Mastodons can be found in the book "Slipback".
6. What is the group of Daleks in the void ship in "Army of Ghosts" and "Doomsday"?

Answer: The Cult of Skaro

The Imperial and Regnade Daleks are from a very old series, and the Dalek Supreme is a Dalek Leader which destroyed itself when it was told it was the last of its race by the Doctor.
7. How did the Slitheen die in World War III?

Answer: They were blown up by a missile

They intended to create World War Three so the world would be destroyed and they could sell the remainders of the Earth as fuel. They did have electric badges, but those didn't kill them. When one of them was splashed by some acidic pickling solution, it exploded. They only dissolve when they are dipped in acid, as they are made of calcium.
8. How many people died in the 2005 episode "Dalek"?

Answer: 200

The Dalek wanted freedom, and since Rose's DNA had given it new ideas which contradicted with its ideas of racial purity, it self-destructed.
9. What are the invading aliens in the "Christmas Invasion"?

Answer: Sycorax

The Sycorax are a warrior race. The Graske did appear in a special where the viewer could change channel to get a special score. As for the Santons, I just made them up.
10. Where is "Boom Town" set?

Answer: Cardiff

Southend was not featured in any "Doctor Who" 2005-2006 episodes. It's from "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."
