"Dear Emily and Richard", From Lorelai Quiz

Golf was the fourth theme the man had decided on, and then he changed his mind again! He thought golf was too boring, and he didn't want people thinking of him as a boring person. He changed the theme to "Beanie Babies" later on.

Rory read the invitation aloud to Lorelai at the inn, and decided that she should go. She was even supposed to bring a gift! Unfortunately, Sherry went into labor a week before the C-section was scheduled, so the celebration had to be canceled.

Answer: She had been fired

Young Lorelai and Christopher knew that they were alone in the house, so they drank alcohol and discussed plans of skipping college and traveling through Europe.

Answer: Re-schedule school

Sherry was at Boston Memorial, not Mass. General, and Maureen never specifically asked Rory to take a train, just to get there. She had no intention of forcing Rory to be in the delivery room with Sherry, although it almost happened because Christopher was almost too late and all of Sherry's other friends had to work.

In a flashback scene of when Lorelai is preparing for her "coming out" portrait, she apparently doesn't know she's pregnant yet, but has obviously put on a little bit of weight. The dress didn't fit! However, it appears that Lorelai had a sneaking suspicion as to why the dress didn't fit, due to the look on her face.

Christopher was out of town, but was coming as fast as he could. With perfect timing, Christopher showed up in his black leather jacket, so that he could see his daughter the moment she was born.

Jess tells Luke that he's going "out" for an hour or so, but Luke doesn't get the hint. Luke questions Jess further, and keeps asking "Where?", but Jess repeats his answer of "Out." Luke is worried that Jess is leaving, as it is already quite late, and Luke can't imagine why Jess would need to leave at that particular moment in time, but Jess is just trying to give Luke and empty apartment to share with Nicole. What a humorous scene!

Answer: Rory was perfect

In the flashback scene, 16-year-old Christopher says, "She's pretty," but 16-year-old Lorelai says that Rory is perfect. In modern times, the excited Christopher says to Lorelai, "Isn't she perfect, Lorelai?" "Rory was perfect," replies Lorelai, "but she's a close second."

Answer: a DVD player

Emily is at home all alone a lot of the time, and must be very bored. Lorelai does something really nice for her mother in this episode, helping her find something to pass her "alone-time". Now Emily can watch all of those musicals she loves!
