Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What episode of "Doctor Who" is he watching when Peter Davison becomes obsessed with appearing on the 50th Anniversary show?

Answer: The Snowmen

It is Christmas 2012, and Davison is watching "The Snowmen" with his sons Louis and Joel. They ask him if he will appear in the 50th anniversary special. He says he is unsure, and that it might only star Matt Smith and David Tennant. His sons are actually psyched about that prospect, leaving Davison dejected and obsessed with being part of the anniversary special.
Davison and his wife Elizabeth Morton have two sons. His daughter from his second marriage, Georgia Moffett, is married to Tenth Doctor David Tennant. Georgia appears several times in "The Five Doctors Rebooted".
2. Who does NOT show up in Peter Davison's dream sequence?

Answer: John Hurt

"You were always my favorite," a fawning Coleman tells him. Matt Smith tells him what an honor it is to work with him. Moffat says that he has dedicated the fiftieth anniversary special to Davison. The make-up crew almost worships him. Davison is rudely awoken by his wife. No John Hurt fawning over Peter Davison - apparently that was too much even for a dream.
3. What Fourth Doctor era episode of "Doctor Who" is used to suggest that Colin Baker is calling Tom Baker?

Answer: Shada

This is actually an extremely in-joke, as scenes from "Shada" were used in the original "The Five Doctors" episode in 1983 when Tom Baker could not appear. The three Doctors actually argue over who should call Tom Baker. Colin finally calls, reasoning it can not be any worse than the disgusting foods he had to eat on "Get Me Out of Here, I'm A Celebrity!"
4. What member of the cast does director Peter Jackson talk to when Sylvester McCoy goes missing from the set of "The Hobbit?"

Answer: Ian McKellan

McCoy plays Radagast the Wizard in "The Hobbit" trilogy. As he notes "A big blockbuster film with award-winning director Peter Jackson." When McCoy receives a call from Jackson (after fleeing the set), he looks at the phone and says "Oh, dear." Jackson talks to Ian McKellan, who is reprising his role as Gandalf. McKellan jokes that the scene might actually go better without McCoy present. Martin Freeman plays Bilbo Baggins, Richard Armitage is Thorin Oakenshield and Orlando Bloom is Legolas.
5. Who is sitting in the car when the Three Doctors ask John Barrowman for a lift?

Answer: A wife and daughters

A very fictional wife and daughters are sitting in the car, nagging Barrowman. He proceeds to dump them, and give Davison, Baker and McCoy a lift to BBC studios in Cardiff.
In reality, Barrowman is gay. He and his husband Scott Gill met in 1993; they joined in civil partnership in 2006, and got married in California in 2013. Barrowman is a quite outspoken LGBT activist.
Billie Piper played companion Rose Tyler. Russell Tovey was Midshipman Alonzo Frame in "The Voyage of the Damned." Ianto Jones, played by Gareth David-Lloyd, was a beloved character on "Torchwood". There is a shrine to Ianto in Cardiff Bay.
6. What does John Barrowman do on the entire drive from London to Cardiff?

Answer: Sing show tunes

Barrowman sings the entire way from London to Cardiff, singing "Oh What A Beautiful Morning", "Anything Goes", "Easy to Love" and "I Am What I Am".
When he drops off Davison, Baker and McCoy in Port Teigr, they are holding Barrowman CDs, which they use to pay the 15 Pound entry fee for the Doctor Who Experience. In a great joke, the discs are thrown into a bin overflowing with Barrowman CDs. Barrowman singing is a running gag throughout the film.
7. What is Georgia Moffett doing when she talks to husband David Tennant on the phone?

Answer: Giving birth

Georgia is in the middle of labor when she asks David to help Peter break into the BBC studio where they are filming the 50th anniversary special. "Do this one thing, and he'll stop calling us," she tells David. He hangs up and says "There was something else I meant to ask her."
Georgia pigs out on ice cream when dodging calls from her father. On May 2, 2013, Georgia gave birth to Wilfred Tennant. She has a son, Tyler (born 2002) and a daughter Olive (born 2011).
8. What does David Tennant use to block the door so the three former Doctors can break into BBC studios?

Answer: Fire extinguisher

David places a fire extinguisher in the door jamb, allowing them to break into the building. Davison, Baker and McCoy have stolen their costumes from the Doctor Who Experience.
They enter the TARDIS set, and complain about it. Their first plan is to sneak on the set disguised as Daleks. Ironically, at the end, Steven Moffat and director Nick Hurran eliminate the Dalek scene. Their second plan falls through as well, because in the under-gallery scene they are covered up under tarps.
9. What does the security guard do when he meets the former Doctors?

Answer: Asks for their autographs

Dez the security guard, not exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer, is star-struck meeting the former doctors and gets their autographs.
10. Who leaves a long, rambling message on Peter Davison's phone at the end of "The Five(ish) Doctors Rebooted"?

Answer: Russell T Davies

Russell Davies is the BBC producer who rebooted "Doctor Who" in 2005, and oversaw the series during the Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant years. The movie closes with Davies offering to star in the film that Davison is making, with his suggestions growing stranger as he goes along.
Matthew Waterhouse was Adric and Janet Fielding was Tegan Jovanka, both companions of the Fifth Doctor.
